fa پیرامون هنر سنتی در رویارویی آن با صنعت مدرن Handicrafts, Encountering Modern Technology تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">در باره هنر سنتی بسیار شنیده‌ایم وخوانده‌ایم. هدف این گزارش نیز مرور شنیده‌ها وگفته ها نیست. در این‌جا‌، تنها بر‌آنیم که بر چند نکته‌ای تأکید ورزیم و دو پرسشی پیش رو نهیم. از آنجایی‌که عبارت «هنر سنتی» تا اندازه‌ای هم‌چنان مبهم است، نخست می‌کوشیم‌، با پیشنهاد ترتیب نسبتاً نویی، از این ابهام بکاهیم. وانگهی تعریف هنر سنّتی، از جمله هنر اسلامی، به نظر دشوار می‌آید؛ به‌ویژه اگر از منظری تاریخی به آن بنگریم. برای همین گروهی هم‌چنان در وجود هنری به نام هنر اسلامی تردید روامی‌دارند؛ به همان‌سان که فلسفه اسلامی، چونان شعبه‌ای از فلسفه قدیم، مورد پذیرش برخی نیست. لذا، پس از ارائه ترتیبی برای هنر سنتی، به عللی می‌پردازیم که به واسطه آن تعریف هنر سنتی، به‌ویژه هنر اسلامی، دشوار می‌نماید. سر انجام، با رویاروی نهادن هنرسنتی، به‌ویژه معماری وصنایع دستی، و دست‌آورد (ماشین آورد)‌های صنعت مدرن، یک پرسش به میان می‌آوریم: چگونه می‌توان، با نظر به هنر سنتی و در پرتو آن، از زیبائی تولیدهای صنعت مدرن سخن گفت؟ به بیان دیگر، چگونه می‌توان‌، بر مبنای هنر سنّتی، گونه‌ای زیباشناسی برای صنعت مدرن  پی ریخت و، افلاطونی بگوییم، آن‌را از «زُمختی کارخانه» تا اندازه‌ای رهایی بخشید؟</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">This article aimes to emphasize certain points concerning traditional art , and to put forward a question. As the term” Traditional art” is rather ambiguous, first we try to clarify it. To do so, we propose an approach somehow different from one generally admitted. Thereby, we discuss the reasons why it is not so easy to give a definition of traditional art, islamic art in particular, specially from a historical point of view. That is why some specialists are willing to deny the existence of islamic art, as some historiens of philosophy seem to have the same attitude vis-a-vis islamic philosophy. Finally, encountering handicrafts with modern technology, we ask whether , in the light of traditional art, it is possible to speak of aesthetique regarding technological products : could a refrigerator be called beautiful; what about a washing machine or a car etc. ?
