This article would discuss some of Jean Francois Lyotard’s views on art and his favorite artists as well. Becoming world-wide known for his controversial theories about postmodernity and the collapse of grand-narratives, Lyotard used keywords like sublime, undepictable, differend, and silent voices to better present his critical opinions in the realm of art.
